Account Information:
- Email address (for authentication)
- Display name (optional, for household identification)
You may sign in using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In; those providers' privacy policies apply to their handling of your sign-in.
Financial Data:
- Budget categories and planned amounts you create
- Transaction records you enter (amounts, merchants, dates, notes)
- Income items and amounts
We do NOT collect:
- Bank account numbers or credentials
- Social security numbers
- Location data
- Contact lists or photos
- Any data from other apps on your device
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To provide and maintain the budgeting service
- To sync your budget across your devices
- To enable household sharing with people you invite
- To authenticate your account
4. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Encryption at rest
- Row Level Security ensuring you can only access your own data
- Secure authentication via Supabase Auth
5. DATA SHARING
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
Your budget data is shared ONLY with:
- Members of your household (whom you explicitly invite)
- Our infrastructure provider (Supabase) for data storage
6. DATA EXPORT & DELETION
- You can export your data at any time as CSV files from the Settings screen
- You can request complete account and data deletion by contacting us at zerodollarbudget@outlook.com
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email.
